I’ve been pulled over four times and confronted by police for other things twice. Verbal warnings all six times.
If this keeps up, I feel I’ll just get used to it and my first ticket will be a huge shock.

I couldn’t believe he was dogging me when I rechecked my (cruise control set) speed. Of course he was a Deputy Sheriff. The CHP would never have pulled me over at that speed.

Fight it based on the basic speed law. I can’t remember which magazine it was, but one of their writers got tagged for something similar while driving a Lamborghini. They fought it using the basic speed law as justification saying it would have been unsafe for them to travel at a speed significantly lower than the flow of traffic which they would have had to do to go speed limit. They got the ticket tossed, but as with anything, YMMV.
